Basic Philosophy

In our business of providing products that contribute to the advancement of information and communications, OKI Electric Cable regards environmental conservation as one of its highest priorities and, with participation by all employees, proactively promotes conservation activities for both the global and local environments.

Action Guidelines

1. At the development and design stages, evaluate environmental impacts across all phases from product development through disposal, and strive to deliver environmentally conscious products.
2. Not only comply with laws, regulations, and agreements established by national and local governments, but also set voluntary improvement initiatives to reduce environmental impact.
3. Foster and preserve the local environment rich in nature; promote greening of our premises and the protection of water resources; collaborate with relevant authorities and local communities to contribute to society.
4. Conduct internal environmental audits and continually maintain and improve our environmental management system through self-governance.
5. Provide environmental education and internal communications to deepen understanding of this Basic Environmental Policy and raise environmental awareness.
6. Make this Basic Environmental Policy available to the public both inside and outside the company.
