- This IEEE1394.b cable supports a transmission speed of 800Mbps.
- The maximum transmission distance is 10m (standard 4.5m).
- The special cable construction reduces attenuation, thus realizing a transmission distance of about twice the standard distance.
- The special cable construction in combination with the shield realizes noise immunity which is suitable for a factory automation environment.

Structure

Application example
The Camera port (IEEE 1394.b interface) of an FA computer can be connected to the input/output terminal of a factory camera which connecting to Chip mounter or any other FA equipment and read video data or operate the camera remotely.
